Little Bean's Toy Chest is a mom-owned, Asian-owned toy brand. We are here to create unique, handmade toy books (aka "quiet books") with whimsical ideas & fun activities to feed your child's imagination (and keep their hands busy!)
As an Asian mom raising young kids in the US, I love using these toys not only to encourage imaginative play, but also to celebrate cultural heritages and uplift minority voices. Our books feature dolls with different skin shades and hairstyles, and dim-sum and qipao and phở and áo dài... little gems that hopefully inspire our kids to find joy in and enthusiastically embrace their culture.
I started LBTC in Hong Kong, but now we live on a beautiful island in the Pacific Northwest. You'll see some PNW-themed toy books here too - a nod to our new homeland since 2020 :)
A point of pride for LBTC: All our felt books are handmade by hardworking craftspeople in Vietnam, with high quality (OEKO-TEX certified) felt sourced locally and excellent craftsmanship.
